Grand Reopening of VSA Art Space @ Bedok

Description

Very Special Arts Singapore is a local charity organisation dedicated to providing opportunities for people with disabilities to be involved in the arts.

For the past 24 years, Very Special Arts (VSA) Singapore has been running successful art programmes, workshops, competitions and art exhibitions for the special needs community, creating awareness among members of the public of their immense talent and resilience.

After closing in July to September 2017 and reopened in October 2017, VSA plans to hold an event welcoming people to their revamped VSA Bedok Centre. With the facelift, the art space has new facilities such as two additional classrooms to benefit and equip participants with diverse art skills such as visual art, literary art and performing art.

The grand reopening of VSA Art Space gives the community a glimpse of programmes that VSA run within the art space such as community art classes and masterclasses for the entire day.
